The Practice Team
Doctors
Dr Mark Turnbull MB. ChB. (1988) DCH. DRCOG. MRCGP. Dr Turnbull is the Senior Partner. He is a G.P. Trainer for the practice. His particular clinical interests include Cardiology and he is Clinical Assistant in the local hospital Cardiology Department.
Dr Ian Roper MB. ChB. (1990) DRCOG. Dip Ther. Dr Roper is the GP Contract, IT and Clinical Governance Lead. His clinical interests include Diabetes, Therapeutics and I.T. in medicine. He maintains this website.
Dr Catherine Laird BM.(1989). MRCGP. Dr Laird is the Partner responsible for Staff Matters and the Practice Timetable. She is also a G.P. Trainer. Her clinical interests include Dermatology, Women's Health, Family Planning and Infertility.
Dr Sue Clegg MB. ChB. Dr Clegg's clinical interests include Women's Health and Genitourinary Medicine. She also works as a clinical assistent in the community G.U clinic.
Dr Andrea Williams BM.(1989). MRCGP. Dr Williams joined the practice in 2004. Her interests include Sports Medicine, Acupuncture and Respiratory Medicine. She is the Finance Lead Partner for the Practice.
Dr Pasva Manikandan (Dr Mani) BM.(1996). MRCGP. Dr Mani joined the practice in 2005. He is responsible for Practice based Commissioning at King Street and is the Practice Locality Committee Representative. His interests include minor surgery.
GP Locum: Dr Nada Sharif. Dr Sharif is a former Registrar of the practice who we welcome back to deputise for Dr Laird during her sabbatical.
GP Registrar: Dr Sarah Paul.

Our Practice Nurses see patients by appointment. They can provide advice on diet, smoking, wound dressings, stitch removal, travel advice, routine vaccinations and ear syringing. They also run our Chronic Disease Management Clinics.
Our Health Care Assistant and phlebotomist see patients by appointment. They perform blood tests, and the HCA monitors weight, height, blood pressure and assists our nurses.
District Nursing Team

Our District Nursing team, headed by Sr's Rees and Bray attend to the needs of our patients who are housebound by illness, infirmity or who have recently undergone surgery. They can be contacted on Hereford 01432 342211
Pregnancy Care
- Midwife: Sophie Semple RM
Our midwife sees patients both in surgery-based antenatal clinics and at home. She also runs the parent craft group.
Mums and Toddlers

- Health Visitor: Christine Carson
- Health Visitor Support Worker: Sarah George
Our health visitors provide advice and assistance to parents and young children. They are also happy to advise on other health matters. They are trained nurses with midwifery qualifications. They can be contacted on Hereford (01432) 354510. They help run several patient groups including parentcraft and also run the practice baby clinics.
Administrative Staff
Practice Manager:
Mr Gary Johnson. Provides full managerial and administrative support to the partnership.
Senior Receptionist:
Mrs Sheila Higgins. Provides a point of contact for patients. Main duties are to supervise, co-ordinate and guide the reception team.
Receptionists:
Manage the appointment system, medical records, prepare consulting rooms, answer telephone calls and perform routine daily procedures. Each has specific responsibilities e.g for prescription administration, secretarial support, clerical duties etc. All are fully trained and understand the need for strict confidentiality.
